Originally i made these drawings for a greetings card for our bharatanatyam teacher.
The first year we learn the adavus (steps), they are like a kind of alphabet from which are built the choregraphies.

Better late than never… here are some pictures from the Nuit Blanche. We didn’t manage to see the Nabaztag rabbits’ concert, but we went to the Gare de Lyon (my favourite train station, because i leave Paris from this one when i go to see my family !) where there was the shoot of the next Shaad Ali’s movie. Another interesting thing was the Nuit de l’Europe project : pictures from european photographs, projected on screens in the Yitzhak Rabin garden. I still don’t know what to think of the ducks… it looks like it is the Europa’s shipwreck, isn’t it ?

Pour les parisiens : concert de Olli and the Bollywood Orchestra, demain soir à la Bellevilloise.

Pour les gens qui habitent en France (mais dans quelques villes seulement, en fait !) : aujourd’hui est sorti La Danse de l’Enchanteresse, un documentaire sur le Mohiniyattam, une danse originaire du Kerala, dans le sud de l’Inde. Comme le dit Télérama : “Le film ravira les initiés, les autres y verront un éloge de la lenteur”…
