india travel book (3) – lunch, palace and dance

This is the first episode of a new travel serial !
I organized it by themes, inspired by what we saw during our stay in Mysore, Bangalore, Hampi, Kochi…
Of course it’s very subjective ;-)

I met this family in a temple in Hampi ; they wanted to be photographed only to watch their portraits on the camera’s screen :)

We met these women several times in Hampi, on different sites. They invited us to share their lunch – so yummy!

This kathakali actor has tears in is eyes because he was rolling his eyes faster and faster (the eye movements are important to interpret feelings in kathakali theater).

See also : a fisherman (without fish because you know, when the monsoon is here, the fish aren’t.), an old-but-still-very-limber beggar, a pot-bellied man, little boats – here and here – on the backwaters.
I will also show you my little travel book ! i’m still working on it…
