Current mood : “spleeny”

I am conscious that these days, the drawings I put on this blog look sad or melancolic. But I’m not sorry for that.

(if you’re fed up with this, go to read another blog, or just come back later… ;)

And if you were asking why I choose to write in english this year, there are many reasons :
I have international aspirations or this blog – and for me too. It’s been a long time that I’ve started to think about going to work and live in another country. Now it is time to act…
Write  in not-my-mother-tongue also allows me to take distance with the tings I talk – draw – about…

Whatever the reasons why I’m feeling like I feel now,  I need to go to the end, to understand and feel better afterwards.

So, english will become the main language of the blog.
… but as I love to play with words, I can’t satisfy myself with only one language… :)

After reading this i’ve got two songs in my mind :
    1. The Time Is Now/Moloko
2.I Don’t Know What To Do With Myself/The White Stripes

    Good luck with your aspirations.

Well, thanks to both of you :)

Aterciopelated Velvet » thank you for your music suggestions, however I just want to specify that I know what to do with myself, the question would rather be “how”…

For purely selfish reasons, I am glad you are writing some blogs in english just because it makes it easier for me to read! I am still learning french however. I hope you are not melancholy for long. :-)

Votre blog est très charmant. Je viens d’écrire un petit article à ce sujet sur le mien — en fait, je vous ai trouvée car nous nous sommes retrouvées sur le même “Google Alert.”

Good luck writing in English. But don’t give up the French texts either.

I love your cat and mouse post! Darling…

I came here because of Betty C.’s blog post about you. I haven’t delved into the French bits yet (et ce sera avec grand plaisir quand je le fais), but I’ve enjoyed the English posts so far!

    Your drawings are charming.

Vos dessins sont excellents ! J’ai découvert votre blog au site de Betty C. Je m’excuse pour le mal français ! It seems it will take decades to learn this language. Can’t wait to see more of your stuff.
