Deb Henderson published an interview of me on Moodboard’s blog, mainly about my Graffiti sketchbooks. To celebrate this, here is another month : july !

Here are some pictures of the place where I was born… I’m not on holiday, but I’m working from my parents’ house for some days.
Each time I come back here I don’t recognize the city ! There are new buildings at every corner… like these future red flats :

Yesterday I found this in my mail box !

Walt Disney partly produced this new Bollywood animation movie : Roadside Romeo. See here the trailer, and two shorts promoting the main characters, Romeo and Laila. It looks crazy, i would love to watch it !

Crossing the Balkans by Bicycle : Martin and his brother Adrien are travelleling from Venice to Istanbul… on bicycle ! You can read their travel diary in english or french on their blog.

I spent the weekend far from Paris… mmm ! green and fresh grass - with a black cat squatting in… if it makes you remember another one ;) - is something i regularly miss… 

In Paris, the Guru Dutt’s posters exibition is going on at the Librairie Dominique Laucournet, until November 1st.

The illustrators and artists Camilla Engman and Elisabeth Dunker have founded Studio Violet. They work together - not just side-by-side - to produce beautiful piece of art… for our greatest pleasure !

Some people, this article on Design For Mankind and this one (wow-wowww, thanks a lot !) reminded me that i was very late in publishing my graffiti diary… so, at last, i take the time to scan and publish the june sketchbook… i invite you for a little journey to the past !

Better late than never… here are some pictures from the Nuit Blanche. We didn’t manage to see the Nabaztag rabbits’ concert, but we went to the Gare de Lyon (my favourite train station, because i leave Paris from this one when i go to see my family !) where there was the shoot of the next Shaad Ali’s movie. Another interesting thing was the Nuit de l’Europe project : pictures from european photographs, projected on screens in the Yitzhak Rabin garden. I still don’t know what to think of the ducks… it looks like it is the Europa’s shipwreck, isn’t it ?

Pour les parisiens : concert de Olli and the Bollywood Orchestra, demain soir à la Bellevilloise.

Pour les gens qui habitent en France (mais dans quelques villes seulement, en fait !) : aujourd’hui est sorti La Danse de l’Enchanteresse, un documentaire sur le Mohiniyattam, une danse originaire du Kerala, dans le sud de l’Inde. Comme le dit Télérama : “Le film ravira les initiés, les autres y verront un éloge de la lenteur”…
